I have traveled with Carnival an average of 7 times. This cruise was a disappointment for me. The quality of everything is no longer the same as it was two years ago. Best cruise ever - staff on boat were phenomenal - especially Christian at the coffee shop and Henry in housekeeping - amazing people ! All staff kind courteous and attentive - boat was spotless! I always love cruise but this Horizon was the worst cruise ever, food not good. very disappointed , look like a hunger games with the food , Meridian restaurant took forever to served our meal literally like 2 hour. Never again Carnival no organization and I only see once the cruise director .Only I can said the bar (alchemy) was good other than that I was. waiting to get out of this ship,

I'm a huge fan of cruises and have always tried my best to get friends to try it. This might have changed that. This cruise a pathetically disorganized. Both boarding and disembarking were an inefficient nightmare compared to every other cruise I've taken including other Carnival cruises. The food with very few exceptions was abysmal. I alway tell people I've never had a bad meal on a cruise ship.

old ship, cabins are too small, entertainment horrible and food at the buffet only 7 choices if plates, two if bread and 5 of Salad. After the short cruise a month prior I wasn’t sure how this cruise was going to go however thankfully, it went wonderful! Embarkation was quick and painless, Cabin was spacious, clean, and very well taken care of. Food was great. Public areas could benefit from more seating. Our food servers were the absolute best! Just returned from our 6 night Western Caribbean Cruise last night on Carnival Horizon. Wanted to share my thoughts while still fresh.
