The doctor spent a lot of time with me. It was my first appointment because I am a new patient. I was impressed with how much time she took to get to know my background and how attentive she was. Looking for a new primary care made me little nervous. Doctor Whitaker made me feel very comfortable Immediately, and I feel very confident that she will take care of my needs.

My experience was great from start to finish. The receptionist, MA and Dr. Whitaker were all wonderful! Dr. Whitaker took time to listen to my medical history and answered all my questions. One of the things I was looking for in a new doctor was someone who actually listens, and I think I found that!

Amy was very thorough and did a complete review of my health history.

This was my first visit to this facility as I am a new patient of Dr Whitaker. I was so incredibly happy with everything! The wait was short and staff was friendly. Dr Whitaker is wonderful...she listened to me, took her time explaining things to me. I'm so very happy I found her! Afterwards I was able to very quickly and easily go over to Compunet and get the work she ordered done Overall excellent first impression. plan to be a longtime patient!

I am so happy to be a patient of Dr. Whitaker. She is easy to talk to and gives me good explanations for what we are discussing and teaches me what I need to know for my care. I always look forward to seeing her knowing I will get her full attention and care. I left a practice I felt was not providing that level of care so finding her was a huge relief. Her staff are also friendly and helpful. All in all, she is a really great doctor.

The Staff are the best! Knowing they truly care about you and your family is so comforting.

Dr. Whitaker found issues that were causing me so many problems, within 2 months of my visit to her she listed, was kind and was determined to find out what was wrong with me. Changed my medications and I am doing so much better. I am grateful for her as my doctor.

I recently had a very poor experience with a provider in this practice that is absolutely awful ( I could go on & on about her) and was planning on changing all together. However, I saw Amy Whitaker prior to changing offices and was pleasantly surprised. I have waited a long time for a Dr like her. She is patient, thorough, understanding and an amazing Doctor. I'm so happy things worked out the way they did. I'm so appreciative of her. You definitely have a 5 star Dr on your team!

great refreshing to pay attention to my needs

This was my first visit with Dr. Whitaker. My previous primary care doctor retired in December 2023. I did not have any specific reason for the appointment. I scheduled it so I could meet Dr. Whitaker who was recommended to me by my daughter. I had a positive experience and am glad I chose her!

My experience at this office was fantastic! This next statement is regarding Miami valley south. However, the check in process at MVH South was not satisfactory. Using headphones to register (to get my xray)even if wiped down is pretty disgusting.

I checked in online and uploaded my insurance cards and then had to do it again on paper. I waited more than 15 minutes past my appointment time to be called back and more than 45 minutes to see the doctor and then my appointment was rushed.

i enjoyed the experience. It was a vast change from my previous poor experience. I look forward to a more hands on type of experience.

Dr. Whitaker engages with you in a face to face manner. listens to your responses . only after she gathers the information she needs does she enter it into her notes. unlike some who are focused on the keyboard. i was impressed by her manner and concern or interest to what was being presented.

blood pressure was a little high when taken by nurse. Expected doctor to retake pressure but did not.

On my note, it states something about Abdominal Palpations being normal. She didn't palpate my abdomen. She only listened to heart, lungs, and checked lymphs nodes in neck area.

I read many reviews before deciding on this new office and provider specifically and I'm so pleased with my decision. The reviews were all very positive and for good reason; this was the most thorough and comfortable experience I've ever had with a medical practitioner from start to finish!

Dr. Whitaker obviously cares about her patients. She listens carefully to my concerns and responds honestly with answers in a way that I can easily understand. She encouraged me to always reach out to her for any questions or guidance. I really appreciate that! She explains why I need to do everything. I was pleased that Dr. Whitaker took the time out of her schedule to meet me on a telehealth call so I was able to secure a prescription quickly. She listened, offered questions and observations, looked through older records from previous doctor and made me feel she was up to date on my health. The doctor visit was great. But I had to wait 45 minutes at computer to get my lab work done. I saw people that arrived after me get in first, and I figured out I need to make an appointment online as soon I get done with the doctor visit. I was seen in less than 5 minutes after I made an online appointment in the waiting room.

Associated Specialists of Internal Medicine Office- I was very impressed by this new office. Receptionist was very nice and welcoming. When my name was called, Doctor Amy Whitaker came out to lobby, introduced herself, took me in , took my weight and vital signs and we went to her room. I had several different medical problems and Dr. Whitaker took her time to listen, gather all information and answered all my questions. She was never in a hurry and really paid attention to all of my concerns. I have never met most detailed and well rounded doctor who explained everything to me in detail. I am definitely going to send my family and my friends to see Dr. Whitaker. She is absolutely great! Thank you for a great new visit.
