These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (2024)

Across Walt Disney World Resort's theme parks, hotels, and Disney Springs (a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex), there are literally hundreds of places to get food, from snack stands to full-service restaurants. Choosing where to eat can be tricky, but we've got you covered with the 30 best restaurants at Disney World — including my personal favorites. Top selections include dreamy character dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, out-of-this-world co*cktails at Space 220, and wholesome bowls with wandering wildlife at Satu'li Canteen.

To curate the list, we considered the dining experiences that offer delicious food, an enchanting atmosphere, and that touch of Disney magic you just won't find anywhere else. AsTravel + Leisure's on-staff theme park expert, I visit Walt Disney World several times every year. I've eaten at countless Disney snack stands, lounges, and restaurants to narrow down the very best places on property. For simplicity, we stuck to lounges, bars, quick-service locations, and table-service restaurants, excluding the snack stands that proliferate the parks.

Get ready for your next magical meal and explore the best Disney World restaurants to try on your next trip. It’s advisable to make reservations as far ahead as possible via the Disney World app or website.

Best Restaurants in Magic Kingdom

Cinderella's Royal Table

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (1)

Dining inside Disney World's iconicCinderella's Castle is a must for many theme park fans. This fairy-tale table-service restaurant offers prix fixe breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. Guests can choose from entrees like scrambled eggs, caramel apple-stuffed French toast, and shrimp and grits for breakfast. Lunch and dinner options include chicken, filet mignon, and more. Thanks to the wandering princesses who meet with each guest, Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the most sought-after experiences in the Magic Kingdom.

Be Our Guest

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (2)

Step inside the Beast's castle for a fairy-tale-inspired meal. Be Our Guest is split into three areas: I sat in the Grand Ballroom, which is arguably the most iconic, but the West Wing and The Rose Gallery are also enchanting, so be sure to check each out when you dine. The restaurant serves a prix fixe three-course meal at lunch and dinner; starters include French onion soup and escargot, mains range from filet mignon to fish, and dessert includes the famous “gray stuff.” I think the overall atmosphere and tasty food make this experience worth it, especially for princes and princesses who love “Beauty and the Beast.”

Liberty Tree Tavern

If you wish you could have Thanksgiving dinner year-round, Liberty Tree Tavern is the restaurant for you. This all-you-can-eat, family-style lunch and dinner restaurant offers a house salad and Patriot's Platter with roast turkey, pot roast, oven-roasted pork, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and macaroni and cheese, followed by Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake for dessert. There's also a plant-based menu for those who don't want meat or dairy.

Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (3)

Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen is often overlooked by Magic Kingdom visitors charmed by princess-themed meals at Cinderella's Royal Table or Be Our Guest. But “Skipper Canteen," as it's commonly known, is a great choice that frequently has reservations or walk-up tables available when other table-service options don't. The menu here doesn't disappoint, thanks to a range of Asian- and African-influenced items like rice noodles and curried vegetable stew, along with favorites like fried chicken and hanger steak, all served with a touch of the Jungle Cruise flair. After hearing people rave about the tasty food and fun decor, I finally ate here for the first time recently, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Plus, it's one of the few places to serve alcoholic beverages in Magic Kingdom.

Best Restaurants in Epcot

Space 220 Restaurant

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (4)

Epcot is known for highlighting delicious flavors from around the globe, but first, we have to start with this out-of-this-world restaurant. Space 220 is a futuristic dining experience that starts when you board a “space elevator” to zoom 220 miles above the Earth, where you'll dine (and sip on creative co*cktails) with views out into space. I love the Blue Moon Cauliflower and Galactic Miso Salmon.

Where to find it: World Discovery

Le Cellier Steakhouse

A steakhouse inside a theme park might seem a little odd anywhere other than Disney parks, but like many of the other restaurants on this list, Le Cellier Steakhouse is here to show that theme park food doesn't have to be hamburgers and chicken fingers. Le Cellier is an upscale table-service restaurant known for its Canadian Cheddar cheese soup, poutine, and steaks, of course.

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (6)

Via Napoli serves up pizza, pasta, salads, and other Italian eats for lunch and dinner. The thin-crust Neapolitan pizza is the star of the show at this table-service restaurant. The three wood-burning ovens are even named after Italy's volcanoes, Mount Etna, Mount Vesuvius, and Stromboli.

La Cava del Tequila

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (7)

Adding a tequila bar to your Disney World to-do list might feel strange, but one sip of La Cava del Tequila's La Cava Avocado (a popular frozen avocado tequila co*cktail) will make you understand why this tiny bar almost always has a wait. Located in Epcot's Mexico pavilion, it offers over 200 tequilas. The specialty drinks are delightful, and you can taste a few unique tequilas with a flight. This bar alone is why I always start my World Showcase journey in Mexico.

Where to find it: Mexico

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

There are several lovely French restaurants — it's hard to go wrong in the Parisian-inspired section of the park — so we've selected the more affordable Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie for our list. This counter-service eatery is ideal for a quick lunch or afternoon snack, with its sandwiches, fresh baguettes, and tasty pastries. La Crêperie de Paris in the France expansion is another solid option located near Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.

Where to find it: France

Teppan Edo

Hibachi-style dining right in the middle of Epcot's Japan pavilion? Sign us up. Here, the Teppan Edo chefs cook Japanese-inspired favorites right at your table, and sushi is also on the menu. This is a delicious place to stop for a break before you watch the nightly fireworks — and don't forget to try the popular Violet Sake or Tokyo Sunset co*cktails before you go.

Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya

Sushi lovers, pay attention. Shiki-Sai, which opened in summer 2023, wowed me on my first visit. I splurged on a massive sushi platter that was packed with fresh, delicious rolls and nigiri — but the entire menu looked incredible. Even better was the fantastic, attentive service.

Best Restaurants in Disney's Hollywood Studios

The Hollywood Brown Derby

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (8)

Step back in time into old Hollywood when you eat at this restaurant inspired by the iconic Brown Derby chain. With a famous Cobb salad and after-dinner wine flights, this is one Disney World restaurant that grown-ups might like more than kids. The American menu has upscale crowd-pleasing dishes like a charcuterie board, filet mignon, and shrimp macaroni and cheese, plus a kids' menu with options for your picky eaters. For dessert, try the grapefruit cake or its popular liquid counterpart, the grapefruit cake martini. My go-to meal here is a Cobb salad with the martini for dessert.

Where to find it: Hollywood Boulevard

Docking Bay 7

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (9)

With newer lands like Pandora — The World of Avatar and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Disney has created exciting new dining options to fully immerse guests in the experience. Docking Bay 7 offers a range of flavors — from Fried Endorian Chicken Tip Yip, to Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs — in a Star Wars-inspired setting. I think the plant-based option, Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread, is one of the tastiest items on the menu, a testament to how far theme park vegan and veggie options have come in recent years.

Where to find it: Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Oga's Cantina

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (10)

If you've always dreamed of visiting the bars found in galaxies far, far away, plan to visit Oga's Cantina on your next trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios. This lounge offers a range of out-of-this-world co*cktails and mocktails complete with bright colors and unexpected ingredients. There's also beer, wine, cider, and snacks available, but the real draw here is the immersive theming (including tunes from droid DJ R-3X) and fun mixed drinks. Oga's Cantina is suitable for all ages (folks who don't drink might want to try the Blue Bantha — blue milk topped with a Bantha cookie), and you don't have to love Star Wars to have a great time here. The Outer Rim — a tequila-based co*cktail with a black salt rim — is my personal favorite.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Slide into your car-shaped booth at this table-service restaurant and enjoy a meal filled with nostalgia and classic American food. This unique eatery has a 1950s drive-in movie theater theme, complete with vintage cars as the tables and a rotation of retro sci-fi movie clips shown on the big screen. Menu items include burgers, pasta, chicken strips, and salads, plus milkshakes and themed co*cktails.

Best Restaurants in Disney's Animal Kingdom

Satu'li Canteen

The menu at this quick-service eatery consists primarily of beef, chicken, shrimp, and tofu bowls served with your choice of base (options include potato hash, noodles, rice and beans, and salad) and sauce (creamy herb, black bean vinaigrette, and charred green onion vinaigrette). The bowls are filling and packed with flavor, and the cheeseburger bao buns are a tasty option for classic flavors presented in a new, fun way. Satu'li Canteen is my top choice among Animal Kingdom's quick-service restaurants.

Where to find it: Pandora — The World of Avatar

Nomad Lounge

After you've spent a few hours trekking around Animal Kingdom, take a break at Nomad Lounge. The co*cktail, beer, and wine menus offer a wide range of delightful drinks, and while the food menu is relatively limited, it's great for a light bite or appetizer, with mushroom bao buns, tuna bowls, the Tiffins bread service, churros, and more available.

Where to find it: Discovery Island

Yak & Yeti Restaurant

For years, I skipped over Yak & Yeti en route to Expedition Everest (one of the very best rides at Disney World). But on my most recent trip to Animal Kingdom, this Asian-influenced restaurant won me over with its amazing ahi tuna nachos, dragon roll bowl, and lychee rum co*cktail. Portions were huge, the food was fresh and tasty, and the decor really immerses you in the theming of this section of the park.

Where to find it: Asia

Tusker House Restaurant

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (11)

See Donald Duck, Goofy, Mickey, and pals dressed up in their safari best when you enjoy a character meal at Tusker House inside Animal Kingdom. This buffet-style, table-service restaurant offers Mickey and Simba waffles along with all your favorite breakfast items in the morning and African-inspired dishes like pilau rice, shrimp curry, and more at lunch and dinner.

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Wine Bar George

When you think “Disney World dining,” a world-class wine bar might not immediately come to mind. But the phenomenal wine menu, truly delicious food, and incredible staff make Wine Bar George my favorite restaurant at Disney Springs. The drinks menu ranges from sweet frozen co*cktails made with the famous pineapple Dole Whip to amazing wines sold by the ounce (so you can finally try that rare and expensive vintage you've always been curious about). Plates include crispy mac and cheese bites, artisanal charcuterie boards, and much more. Everything is delicious, and the team is always happy to find the perfect wine pairing for your meal based on your personal preferences (and it's always served without the slightest hint of pretension).

Best Disney Resort Hotel Restaurants

Topolino's Terrace

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (12)

Topolino's Terrace is included here for its delightful character breakfast. You'll enjoy your prix fixe, table-service meal — with entrees like avocado toast, sour cream waffles, and more — as you wave to Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy. And even though the characters are only seen at breakfast, this can be a great option for a more upscale dinner featuring French and Italian flavors, too. I went for breakfast shortly after the hotel opened, and I thought it was absolutely adorable. Plus, it's easy to reach Epcot or Hollywood Studios thanks to the Skyliner.

Chef Mickey's

Although Chef Mickey's offers both breakfast and dinner character meals, we recommend coming in the morning because what's more magical than starting a day at the parks with a visit from your favorite mouse? This all-you-can-eat family-style meal includes options like eggs, ham, French toast, Mickey celebration pancakes, and our top pick, Mickey waffles. The monorail buzzing by only adds to the fun ambience.

Sanaa

Eat while watching animals — including zebras, giraffes, and more — roam on the savanna at Sanaa. At breakfast, Sanaa is a casual quick-service eatery, but for lunch and dinner, it's a table-service restaurant. Start your meal with the popular Indian-style bread service before moving on to the African and Indian-inspired mains like pork shank or Zanzibari curry.

Where to find it: Animal Kingdom Villas, Kidani Village, Animal Kingdom Resort Area

California Grill

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (13)

California Grill is known for upscale West Coast cooking served atop the Contemporary Resort's main tower. The table-service restaurant is an ideal choice for a Disney date night or special occasion dinner, and its menu includes sushi, steaks, seafood, and more. You'll even be able to spot the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the restaurant or outdoor observation deck — a magical end to a day at the resort.

Where to find it: Contemporary Resort, Magic Kingdom Resort Area

Toledo

Located at the top of the Gran Destino Tower, Toledo serves Spanish-influenced fare. This table-service rooftop restaurant offers sweeping views of Disney World and a delicious menu featuring tapas, scallops, lamb loin, bone-in rib eye, and more. Top off an elevated dinner with a nightcap at the nearby Dahlia Lounge.

Where to find it: Coronado Springs Resort, Animal Kingdom Resort Area

The Dining Room at Victoria & Albert's

If you're looking for a truly exceptional fine-dining experience at Disney World, Victoria & Albert's is the place for you. The Michelin-starred restaurant offers two tasting menus, each priced per person, as well as optional wine or zero-proof drink pairings for an additional fee. This is the fanciest restaurant at Disney World, so dress accordingly. Victoria & Albert's has a semiformal/formal dress code, and guests must be ages 10 and up to dine here.

Where to find it: Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Magic Kingdom Resort Area

'Ohana

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (14)

Open for breakfast and dinner, 'Ohana offers Polynesian-themed all-you-can-eat meals. At breakfast, find eggs, sausage, Hawaiian-style ham, Mickey waffles, and more, and at dinner, enjoy teriyaki beef, shrimp, chicken, 'Ohana noodles, chicken wings, pork dumplings, and the popular 'Ohana bread pudding. Breakfast features visits from Disney characters including Lilo and Stitch.

Where to find it: Polynesian Village Resort, Magic Kingdom Resort Area

Trader Sam's Grog Grotto

In addition to the much-loved 'Ohana, the Polynesian is home to another iconic Disney World lounge: Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. This charming tiki bar is infused with plenty of Disney theming and magic, including special effects triggered when certain drinks are ordered. In addition to the tasty libations, the lounge serves a small menu of Asian-inspired bites. Note that after 8 p.m., only guests 21 and over may enter. I love stopping here for an Uh-Oa after a fun-packed day at the Magic Kingdom.

Story Book Dining at Artist Point With Snow White

These Are the 30 Best Disney World Restaurants (15)

Located inside the national parks-inspired lodge, Artist Point is home to one of the most delightful character meals on Disney property. The prix fixe menu is packed with eats inspired by Snow White's story, including a Hunter's Harvest appetizer and an Enchanted Apple co*cktail. While dining in the whimsical space, you'll get to meet Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and even the Queen. The fun character encounters, beautiful setting, and delicious food make this one of my favorite character meals.

Where to find it: Wilderness Lodge, Magic Kingdom Resort Area

Steakhouse 71

Steakhouse 71 offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a 1970s-inspired setting. At breakfast, you can find eggs in almost any style — omelets, eggs Benedict, steak and eggs — as well as fresh fruit and pastries. Dinner menu highlights include several cuts of steak and classic starters like French onion soup, a wedge salad, and shrimp co*cktail.
