Minimum GPA requirement
Our experience with this exchange agreement is that they are not able to accept students with a GPA below 4.5on the Danish grading scale. If your GPA does not meet this requirement, you will therefore not be able to be selected for this exchange agreement.
Academic Calendar
The academic year 60 ECTS is divided in six periods varying between 6-12 ECTS. The Autumn term (September - January) consists of period 1 to 3 and the Spring term (February - July) consists of period 4 to 6.Period 1, 2, 5 & 6 have a duration of roughly eight weeks, period 3 & 4 consist of 4 weeks.
The fall semester (Period 1, 2 and 3):starts in September and ends inlate January.
The spring semester (Period4, 5 and 6): starts in February and ends inearly July.
Students can select two courses per period. In period 3 and 4 one course of 6 credits or two courses of three credits. In the remaining periods, students typically enroll in 2 two courses - worth a total of 12 ECTS.

Course Information
The exchange agreement is university wide and students can choose can select courses freely as long as they fulfill the prerequisites of the courses. However, please note that courses starting with an X are a part of an international programme and not open for exchange students.

Students are allowed to enroll in a bare minimum of 22,5 ECTS per semester.

Brief Description
Wageningen University & Research (WUR) is one of the leading international universities and research institutes in the field of healthy food and the living environment. Wageningen is a city centrally located in the Netherlands. It has a small but thriving cultural and social life with theatres, cinemas, student organisations, bars and restaurants. Students, accounting for 20% of the population, turn Wageningen into a university town. Besides this, the many international students, professors and researchers contribute to an international atmosphere. Being a compact town, all university facilities and the city centre are within cycling distance.
Housing
The number of available rooms through student housing is very limited, most exchange students find housing through the private market. You will be informed about housing after you have been admitted as an exchange student.
