Directions:
*4 cornish hens (1 to 1/2 pound(s) each).
*extra virgin olive oil as needed.
*seasoning blend of (seasoning salt, roasted garlic & herb seasoning, smoked paprika, chopped oregano leaves) 1/2 tablespoon each (you can also you whatever blend of seasonings you would like).
*chopped bell peppers, onions and celery (enough to stuff each cavity of the hens) (optional).
-preheat oven 375.
-working on a piece of foil or wax paper wash hens with cold water and pat dry inside and out really good.
-mix seasonings and set aside.
-rub hens all around with extra virgin olive oil really good then sprinkle seasoning blend inside and out then put a handful of chopped peppers,onions and celery in each cavity.
-place hens in pan lined with foil sprayed with cooking spray legs facing up then tie twine or foil around the legs.
-then spray cooking spray on top of hens to seal.
-cook in oven for 1hr and 5 minutes on 375 then 10 minutes on 450 until done and juices run clear

2 whole Cornish hens (about 1¼ pounds each).
2 tablespoons olive oil.
2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet Collection garlic salt.
2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet Collection paprika.
2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet Collection rosemary leaves, crushed.
1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet Collection thyme leaves.
½ teaspoon McCormick Gourmet Collection coarse grind black pepper.
Preheat oven to 350°F..
Place hens on a rack in a shallow roasting pan..
Brush with oil..
Mix all of the spices and herbs in a small bowl..
Rub evenly over the entire surface of the hens..
Roast in the oven for 1-1¼ hours, or until the.
hens are cooked through (an internal temperature.

Garlic & Herb Roasted Cornish Hen|Tutorial

I uploaded this step by step to my Instagram stories and some of my followers requested a full video so here it is! For each cornish hen I used:
1.5 tsp of onion & garlic powder.
1 tbsp garlic and herb salt free seasoning (Mrs Dash).
1 tsp of adobod.
1 tsp chicken seasoning.
1 tsp of meat & poultry seasoning.
1 tsp of paprika.
4 garlic cloves chopped.
1 tsp of oil to drizzle on top.

It needed to be cooked for 1.5 hrs on 375 degrees covered, then for 30 minutes on 400 degrees uncovered while basted every 5-7 minutes!.

Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet or pan with parchment paper or foil. Make a spice mix put salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs seasoning and paprika in a cup and Rub the melted butter.
Directions. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). In a small bowl combine the 1/2 cup melted butter, onion, celery, bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic, basil, oregano and parsley. Season hens inside and out with salt and pepper to taste, then stuff with equal amounts butter/vegetable mixture.Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Step 2 Rub each hen with a lime half. Drizzle the hens with olive oil, and season with chili powder, cumi.Roast the hens in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh registers 165 degrees F and the juices run clear. Remove the.DIRECTIONS Rub hens with butter.
Combine other ingredients and use to baste hens. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, basting with lemon mixture every 10.Place in oven and bake until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Stick thermometer into thickest part of the hens to test doneness.

Place the hens in the roasting pan over the herbs and onions and drizzle the olive oil over the hens. Transfer the roasting pan to the preheated oven and bake.Instructions Preheat oven to 450 F. Spread out chopped vegetables and rosemary in the bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Rub olive oil lightly over the cornish.Truss hens and put in pan.
Rub hens with remaining mixture and let stand for 15 minutes. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tender. After 15 minutes, brush now and then with butter.
Cooking Times of Cornish Game Hens As mentioned above the average size is about 1.4 pounds each. For hens larger than 1.4 pounds, you’ll want to increase the baking time to 50-60 minutes when the temperature is reduced to 350F.Rinse the Cornish game hen under cool, running water.
Pat the Cornish game hen dry with paper towels and put it in a baking dish. Brush the hen with olive oil, and season it with rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic or any other seasonings you desire, such as lemon or paprika. Set the pan in the convection oven in the center.
